Questions writers ask
Why only 30 writers?
Because we want to talk to every one of you. Thirty is small enough that your feedback actually shapes the product, and large enough to cover different genres and ways of working. Once the 30 Early Access spots are taken you can still join — you just start on the regular free trial instead of the free Pro year.
Does AI write my book?
No. TaleWhisperer organizes, remembers, checks continuity, and gives feedback. There is an optional co-writing mode for people who want a brainstorming partner, but it is off by default — nothing is ever written into your manuscript without your explicit say-so.
Who owns my manuscript?
You do. Completely, always. Your writing stays yours, and it is never used to train anything.
Can I import from Scrivener?
Not yet — today the smoothest path is pasting chapters in. Import is exactly the kind of thing Early Access feedback prioritizes, so if it matters to you, tell us in the form.
What genres are supported?
All of them. Fantasy and sci-fi writers get the most out of the worldbuilding tools, but continuity, characters, and critique work the same for romance, mystery, literary fiction — anything with a story.
Can beginners join?
Yes. "Serious" means you genuinely want to finish a book, not that you have finished one before. Just-an-idea is a valid manuscript length in the form for a reason.
